a place for adults & families to make arts & crafts

We believe creativity isn’t just for artists — it’s for everyone. Our space is designed to help you unwind, explore, and reconnect with your creative side.
So how does it work?
We're set up like a restaurant...except instead of ordering food, you order a craft!
Come in, grab a table, look through the craft menu, and choose what you want to make! We bring the supplies and tools to your table, help you get started, and clean everything up when you're done.
No setup, no cleanup — just time to unwind, sip a drink (we serve beer + wine), and make something with your hands.
Whether you’re out on a date, catching up with friends, enjoying time with family, or treating yourself to a solo night out, The Craft Place is here for the joy of making — no experience required.
We're Open!
- Thursday : 3:00 - 8:00
- Friday : 4:00 - 8:30
- Saturday : 12:00 - 8:30
- Sunday : 10:00 - 5:00
Come see us at 123 N Harrison Ave, Lafayette, CO!
Reservations not required, although we do allow for a few tables to be reserved.

Upcoming Workshops You’ll Love

We’re Samantha and Ben — the ones behind The Craft Place. We’re excited to bring something new to the neighborhood, build community, and remind people it’s totally okay to get creative, make a mess, and just enjoy the process.
FAQs
Can I bring my own craft?
As of now, no, you can not bring your own craft. We have plenty of projects on the menu to choose from. The one exception is Thrifty Thursdays, where outside projects are welcome as part of the event. (Find out more under workshops!)
Do you host kids birthday parties?
I'm sorry, but we do not. Kids birthday parties are a very different type of event than what our space is currently designed for. If you have an older child and think we could still be a good fit, feel free to reach out and we can chat!
Do you host private parties?
Yes, yes, yes! I love hosting private parties!
We can host your group outside our normal business hours. For more information please go to our "parties & groups" page or give me a call.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! We've had wonderful makers as young as 6 create here.
The Craft Place was primarily designed as a creative space for adults and young adults, so some projects are more advanced and we do have breakable materials around the studio. We simply ask parents to be mindful so everyone enjoys the space and you keep your kids safe!
Do I need a reservation?
Nope! You can drop in anytime during business hours. We do offer reservations though if you'd like to reserve ahead of time. You can make a reservation under "reservations" on our header or you can call 720.340.8025
Can I bring food or drinks?
You're welcome to bring food like pizza, sandwiches, etc. You can also bring coffee or tea as we don't serve those.
You cannot bring your own alcohol, but we do serve wine, beer, cider, soda, and snacks.
If you are swinging by after the Lafayette Farmers Market on Sundays, we do have a cooler so we can keep your items cold while you craft!
